IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Due to recent snow melts and rain fall, BHAS would like to advise trail users about HIGH WATER levels at creek crossings. As July 1st quickly approaches and the trails in the Eastern Slopes open to off-highway vehicles, Bighorn Heritage ATV Society would like to inform riders that the creeks at the Hummingbird/Onion Lake in the Bighorn backcountry are flowing at extremely high levels.

Please consider this when planing your routes and be aware. Generally the crossings are lower levels in the morning hours than in the afternoon. Be prepared to backtrack from H5 to H4 and back to staging areas in the afternoons as there are multiple crossings between H5 and H3 (Hummingbird Creek Trail) that may be flowing fast and powerful.
